Today, i am telling you the best wildlife encounter in Western Australia is name called Caversham Wildlife Park. This will be included things to do in the park, what to see, what they have, history and others. Beforehand, i do highly recommended to visit before 3pm so that you will be able to manage your time to meet all of the Australia’s unique native animals. It will take at least 3 hours to explore and discover everything in the Caversham Wildlife Park.

Basic introduction of the attraction

Caversham Wildlife Park is home to about 200 species, and it is more than 2000 head of animals, birds and reptiles. This impressive collection makes the Park be the largest privately owned collection of native wildlife in Western Australia. The park is the premiere development of its kind in Western Australia, attracting visitors from all over the world.

Visitors receive personalized service by wildlife professionals who are dedicated to exceptional service, ensuring their visitors receive the best opportunities for animal interaction, information and photographs.

Meet the Koalas

Caversham Wildlife Park showcases many of Australia’s unique native animals, including koalas, wallabies, possums, Tasmanian devils and wombats. They are providing visitors with the opportunity for a close-up encounter with some Australian icons! Hand-feed their kangaroos, have a photo taken with the koalas, catch a keeper talk and interact in one of two great hands-on shows. These are included in your admission fee.

Before you touch the koalas, you must use the hand sanitizer provided in the Park to clean your hand before touch koalas.

Meet the Wombat and Friends Show

Watch the Meet the Wombat & Friends Show, it is an interactive show on daily basis, where keepers bring out their favourite friends for you to see, touch and learn about. You will meet a hairy nosed wombat and may be just say hello to one of the many friendly birds or take a photo with a reptile!

Farm Show

Be sure to catch the daily Farm Show to get a glimpse of farm life, with whip-cracking, sheep-shearing, billy-swinging and more! Visit Molly’s Farm for an interactive farmyard experience too such as feed the buffalo, llamas, deer and more.

During the Farm Show, they will show you how did they shearing the sheep skin, how lanolin oil was made, how to feed the baby sheep milk, how to make milk from the cow and many other relevant to the Farm. You will find interesting in the farm show just like me.

Feeding the Kangaroos

While i was feeding the kangaroos, i find that it was very fun but sometimes when i was feeding them, they fall asleep and sometimes when I fed them, they were eating and sleeping at the same time. I was thinking that how did they manage to eat and sleep at the same time. Let say if human beings, whenever people seen food is around, people would feel excitement of seeing the food is there and they will get some food to eat so people won’t feel tired and sleepy.

Kangaroos have 2 type of color. They are white and brown color kangaroos. While feeding the Kangaroos around, you will find some interesting things around such as kangaroos pregnant, having babies, feeding babies, cuddling each other, cuddling their kids while sleeping and other.

What I love the most in the Wildlife Park?

Apart from feeding the kangaroos, i love koalas as well. It is reasonable that Koalas are too chubby and I am in love their cute look 😂

How much is the cost of entry?

It will be cost AUD$30 per adult and AUD$23 per students. Students entry ticket is called concessions ticket. You will need to show your student ID upon your visit.

The cost is not that expensive, it is a reasonable price and it is worth to go for explore and discover the wildlife encounter.

Stay tune on my next blog 😉
