Feeding the Kangaroos
While i was feeding the kangaroos, i find that it was very fun but sometimes when i was feeding them, they fall asleep and sometimes when I fed them, they were eating and sleeping at the same time. I was thinking that how did they manage to eat and sleep at the same time. Let say if human beings, whenever people seen food is around, people would feel excitement of seeing the food is there and they will get some food to eat so people won’t feel tired and sleepy.
Baby Kangaroos name called Joeys, baby Koalas also name called Joeys. Joeys is defined as a small animals 🙂
Kangaroos have 2 type of color. They are white and brown color kangaroos. While feeding the Kangaroos around, you will find some interesting things around such as kangaroos pregnant, having babies, feeding babies, cuddling each other, cuddling their kids while sleeping and other.
What I love the most in the Wildlife Park?
I definitely love feeding the kangaroos the most as they are very gorgeous and friendly but they are very shy sometimes, not sure it is shy or tired, it was my pressure to feed them 🙂
Apart from feeding the kangaroos, i love koalas as well. It is reasonable that Koalas are too chubby and I am in love their cute look 😂
How much is the cost of entry?
It will be cost AUD$30 per adult and AUD$23 per students. Students entry ticket is called concessions ticket. You will need to show your student ID upon your visit.
The cost is not that expensive, it is a reasonable price and it is worth to go for explore and discover the wildlife encounter.
Welcome to the TravelQueen site! Are you interested in visiting Tasmania? Do you love cold? Tasmania is forever freezing. I love cold weather. Today, I am going to share one of the top attractions in Tasmania. First day arrive scheduled
salamanca Market
I have been visiting Tassie on February 2020 and my first day arrival was on Saturday. The first day arrived trip plan was visiting the Salamanca Market. Salamanca Market is running on every Saturday basis. It is one of the top attractions that travellers must visit. Please find more details about Salamanca Market on my blog tab of my website.
After visiting Salamanca Market, I straight away to check in my Quest houses. I was staying at the quest house. It is a very good accommodation and it is very convenient. After that, I visit the Elizabeth Street Pier, Hobart Tasmania and enjoyed my dinner at the same time. It is like 2 minutes walk from the market to the destination which is very close.
The beautiful city of Hobart Tasmania
Elizabeth Street Pier is a major street and it is located in Hobart Tasmania. They are very similar with the Fremantle Perth Australia where there is very Western Style shops, fish market, food and beverage stores, harbour front, souvenir shops, Asian restaurant, Elizabeth street mall, cruise tours and many other fun tours.
Showing around the Elizabeth Street
While walking and exploring around the Elizabeth Street Pier, you will see that there is couple of army ferry around the ocean which will surprising you a lot. It is very nice to see them and taking a background snapshot.
While walking all the way to the destination from the Salamanca Market, you will pass-by this road. Beforehand, Tasmania is a very quiet state so you won’t see many car around the roads. Tasmania public transport is not as convenient as Perth so you may want to hire a car or being a patient to wait for the shuttle buses. For me, i love walking so i was walking all the time in Tasmania.
This is a very beautiful of the port of Hobart. It was reminding me of habour front in Fremantle. Do not forget that whichever harbour you are visiting and exploring, the most popular food at harbour front is always seafood such as seaweed, fish and chips, prawn, squid lobster and so on. Never get out of seafood at the Port Harbour.
You will find this info board somewhere around the Main Port. There is lot of things to do around the Port of Hobart at the Elizabeth Street Pier. There is a market on Every Sunday basis. It is quite different with the Salamanca Market which is running on every Saturday. Apart from Market, you could discover the Tasmanian Museum & art gallery to learn the Tasmania state history. According to the map, look at the Elizabeth street, whole street is CBD of Tasmania. I do recommended to walk throughout the street and explore around. There is the Hobart GPO and the Town Hall at Elizabeth Street. I went both of them and they are kind of shopping centre. They have Woolworth, bubble tea shop, number of asian restaurants and others.
When i walked throughout the Elizabeth Street Pier, i have seen this souvenir store and they sell gift that everything about Tasmania such as i love Tasmania T-shirt, Tasmania art work, Tasmania map, a mug etc…i bought the most popular stuff called popcorn.
I love this nice bridge while i was walking through this bridge to explore the whole Hobart Port. I love it and you will love it too. Good place to snapshot for a beautiful background like me 😂
I am a ocean lover and i love to walking around the Port Harbour to explore and see what is there and take note if necessary such as if there is any cruise tour and when their operator hours will be so that i could plan next trip. This is how i always did when my holiday is very short. I was just walking up and down the Hobart Port to see what tour they have and plan for my next trip back to Tasmania. Meanwhile, i do enjoyed the cold weather and it is a good exercise to walk as well.
Dinner time at Tassie
By the way, we called Tasmania as a Tassie. Tassie is a short form of the word. It is much more easier to call Tassie.
Today, i am going to introduce the best and top Western Restaurant in Hobart Tasmania. The restaurant name is called Fish Frenzy. Fish Frenzy is just located in the Elizabeth Street Pier at the main entrance of the harbour. I went there for my dinner after explored and discovered the Port of Hobart. The Fish Frenzy restaurant had lot of different seafood dishes and burgers. I had the fish and chip for my dinner that day. It was very tasty and crispy so i would recommended to you for a try. It is very costly but it worth to get them once in a while.
This is one of the popular dishes as well. It is a squids with salad. I love the fried squid so much. It is very crispy and the potion is acceptable.
Most of the people ordered these both dishes in the Fish Frenzy Restaurant. Both are costly but it is good to try out something new at the different places.
This is one of the boat tour at the Elizabeth Street Pier. When i seen this boat, i was quite surprise that there is so many different type of boat that offer to visitor. I am very highly interested to join the tour but unfortunately my vacation in Tassie was too short. When i join this tour in the future, i will update my blog. Stay tune 🙂
If you have any enquiry or concern, please don’t hesitate to contact me or just drop me a comment below. Stay tune on my next blog 🙂

General introduction of Koala Park
Have you ever heard about Cohunu Koala Park? Cohunu Koala Park is located on 14 hectares of natural Australian bushland just 40 minutes drive from the City of Perth in Western Australia to Byford.
The Cohunu Koala Park koala colony was established in year 1982, when its first 4 koalas arrived from South Australia. It is now boasts more than 25 koalas in its colony, usually increasing by 4 baby joeys each year.
DEER
Kangaroos
When i visited Cohunu Koala Park, i have met deer, kangaroos and koalas. Some of them may be very shy but it is still manageable to feed them.
It is the best attractions to come and make friends with some of the unique Australian fauna living in the park. Hand feed with many of the free roaming animals. Have a chat with over 30 talking parrots, see dingoes, kangaroos, emus, deer and koalas, just to name a few of the animals that live at the park. By the way, please be aware of the Emus as it is dangerous. The emus in the park is walking around and sometimes they love to be very near people so make sure you are not touch them.
Observations train tracks
Take a ride on the Cohunu Park Railway which zig zags its way throughout the park most weekends and public holidays only. The subject may change according to the weather conditions.
There is an admission fees for a visit. It would be cost $15 per adult.
The beautiful Cohunu Park in WA
Exploring around the park and saw the crab on the ground
Best place to come and make friends with the animal kingdom, emus, wallabies, owls, dingos and deers are only a few of the other animals that can be fed at the park. The most popular of Cohunu is cuddle Koalas 😍
This Koala name is called Abby. She is very friendly and adorable. While cuddling her, she was very focusing on my camera during selfies time. Some of my friends were asking me about their nail and if it is kinda heavy to cuddle them. In my personal experience of cuddling koala, it is not heavy at all, it is just as same as cuddling children. It is not a big different. But, one thing i find about cuddling her was very fun and it is enjoyable until i want to bring her home. Regarding to Koalas nail, yes, it is very sharp and it is kinda painful while cuddling her because of the sharp nail but it is still very cute for me to cuddle.
Cohunu Koala Park is Western Australia’s the only wildlife park that allows you to pick up and cuddle one of their loveable, furry friends which is koalas. It will be just cost $30 per person to have a cuddle and a photo taken with the star of the park, the perfect souvenir to remember the perfect day of visit. It is quite costly but it is worth it. It is a very memorable and good experience to be spending for this.
While cuddling Abby, i was feeding her and she was very adorable. When i was feeding her, She seem like very hungry as she was eating very fast. But when i took a selfies with her, the staff took away her food because she kept eating without looking at my cameras.
Ensure to bring your own camera with you to take some snapshot, especially cuddling with koalas.
Most of the people going to the Cohunu Koala Park for cuddling koalas purposes. It is a very memorable moments. You will love it just like I do. Everybody love cuddling koalas 😀
Do you know who is this? It is humpty dumpty. I was surprising to see humpty dumpty around the park.
When you are exploring around the Cohunu Koala Park, you will see the Museums and the farm around the park. You could pose with lot of animals in the Park to have some snapshot and memorably time which is pretty cool.
This is how i had a pose for a snapshot with one of the dinosaurs 😂, it was a very beautiful moment and being a copycat. Dinosaurs are around the Museums in the park. Many people love to pose with them because it is very cool
Things to do in the Cohunu Koala Park are pretty much such as exploring the park, hand feed the friendly kangaroos, wallabies, the best cuddle a koala for a souvenir photo as well as to pose for a snapshot with one of the dinosaur replicas. #Dreams #Vacation
Port Arthur is a place of national and international significance which is part of the epic story of forced migration and settlement of this country. Port Arthur Historic Site is located on a beautiful harbour at the southern tip of the Tasman Peninsula, almost 100 km south-east of Hobart.
Port Arthur was much more than a prison; it was a complete community, home to convicts, military and civilian officers and their families. The convicts worked at many industries producing goods and services for use locally and to be sold in Hobart and beyond. The military and civilian officers were tasked with security and administration of the settlement.
Before Europeans arrived in the region, the land, its natural resources and abundant waters were utilised by the Pydarerme people of the Paredarerme language group.
Containing more than 30 historic buildings, extensive ruins and beautiful grounds and gardens, the Site has many stories to explore.
